Making a difference
Quietly but steadily we are making a difference in the lives of children whose past has been marred by abuse.
One of our newest boys was only six when he came to us. He was treated like a pig by a grandmother who beat him with a bamboo stick every day. His father, on a rare day when he would come home, would beat him so severely that the boy would cry until he had no voice left.
But now, even with all the challenges he still has, he is so much better. From not even being able to hold a pencil, he is learning to read and is finding joy in reading the Bible and singing songs to Jesus. That’s what the love of God can do for a person’s soul.
