Child Spotlight

He is 12 years old and in the 5th grade. He has been at GROW for about five years. About three or four months after he first came to us from southern
Thailand, his father passed away due to his drug and alcohol use. He was very unhealthy, and we still need to help him today with his health. He experienced a lot of abuse and was exposed to a lot of drugs. His mother remarried
and disappeared. We don’t know where she is. I would like to ask you to
pray with me that we will be able to connect with her in the future. Currently, we are only in contact with his grandma.

He loves to fish every day on our GROW campus at our fishpond. He is a quiet, sweet boy who is still learning about Jesus Christ. He knows how to pray. He loves to take care of the younger boys at the GROW home and is very helpful. Please pray with us for him.

Corn Field to Boys’ Home

The corn field shown in the picture is behind the current boys’ home and is the future site of the new boys’ cottages. The field has been harvested and the ground is in process of getting ready for the building to begin. The current boys’ home has a capacity of 10-12 boys. The new boys’ cottages will be a place for older boys and will house up to 30 boys.
