You may know that many children in SE Asia are in constant danger of abuse and neglect. By estimates, somewhere between 500,000 and 800,000 children are caught up in the child trafficking industry in Thailand. The children GROW rescues are not orphans and would not even qualify to go to an orphan home. In most cases, at least one of the biological parents is living, but often it is the very families perpetuating the abuse.

Thank God for the vision and dedication of Sumitra (Faa) Choemue and her staff. Through her capable and Christ-like leadership, our children are safe, and their futures look bright. Most of all, they understand very well that it is because of Jesus that this is all made possible.

However, the task is immense: there are so many more children that need rescuing. GROW, with your help, can meet these needs. Some of the opportunities ahead of us are building more homes so we can rescue more children, making plans for more children to go to college, and trusting the Lord to provide the funds to purchase neighboring land, allowing us to move and expand our agricultural program.

We also have ongoing financial responsibilities to meet our yearly budget allowing us to give the best care to our children. All of these needs merit your prayers. We can’t wait to see what God will do as we continue to trust and serve Him by rescuing these precious ones for whom Christ also died.
