Thailand Update

Over the past year, I have poured my heart into serving at GROW HOPE Home, sharing daily life with the children and growing in deep, meaningful relationships with them.

We are so thankful that the security wall and cameras are now complete, bringing greater safety to our home. At the same time, we continue to face challenges in meeting Thai legal requirements while remaining faithful to biblical principles. We would deeply value your prayers for wisdom, integrity, and guidance.

During the school break, some children stayed with us while others returned home to reconnect with their families and cultural roots. Several have now graduated and are preparing for university in Bangkok, Chiang Mai, and Chiang Rai. It is a joy to walk alongside them in this new season, offering encouragement and support.

The children also attended a Christian camp that was deeply impactful. Many encountered Jesus in a personal way, formed meaningful friendships, and left with hearts that did not want to say goodbye.

This month, we also began renovating the boys’ and girls’ dormitories, though much work still remains. In April, our staff were given time to rest, and we were incredibly blessed by alumni and university students who stepped in to serve with such willing and joyful hearts.

April has been extremely hot, and air pollution has been quite severe. Many people are experiencing breathing difficulties, and there have been forest fires in the mountain areas. However, this season has also given me the opportunity to visit the families of our children, especially those from GROW HOPE. Please pray for safe travels, clear communication, mutual understanding, and opportunities to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with the families and their communities.
