Cambodia Update

Regarding the ministry in Cambodia, the local team is doing very well. I have deep confidence in their leadership and in their commitment to carry out the work with faithfulness and care. Although I am not able to visit at this time due to the situation near the border, I remain closely connected through regular communication and continued prayer for them.

Work has begun on repairs and replacing part of the security wall. As with any home repair project, there are always those surprises that throw you for a loop. Fixing the wall has been no exception. We discovered that the existing outdoor restroom/shower building was 10 cm over the property line. This caused an issue with the neighbor, and we were required to tear it down. Once that was torn down, we were able to resume the wall project.

In Cambodia, you must know English to continue to study at the university level. The girls want to learn English in order to open that opportunity to them. Please pray as we look for an English teacher who can come to the campus in the evenings to teach the girls. Until we find that person, our staff plans to use an app to teach beginning English.
