12 Months of Prayer – Seeds that GROW Hope
Each month, join us in prayer for the children, staff, and supporters of Grace Refuge Outreach Worldwide (GROW). Together, we plant seeds of hope that God grows into healing, joy, and new beginnings.

GROW’s staff and volunteers serve tirelessly behind the scenes. Pray for unity, wisdom, andendurance for the entire team.

We have been blessed to have an incredible staff in Thailand and Cambodia. We featured two of them in March. We also have a small but instrumental team here in the U.S. This month we would like you to get to know them and the important work they do so you can be lifting them up in prayer as part of the vital team that supports the work of GROW across the planet.
As Executive Director of GROW, Jeana Harley serves in many roles that help connect the ministry in Southeast Asia with supporters, churches, and teams in the United States. Her work includes overseeing ministry operations, communicating with donors and sponsors, speaking at churches and conferences, organizing teams and travel, sharing the stories of the children and staff, fundraising, and helping guide the vision and direction of the ministry. She also works closely with the leadership teams in Thailand and Cambodia to help assess needs, provide encouragement, and support the ongoing rescue, restoration, and discipleship of the children in GROW’s care.
Working alongside her is GROW’s administrative assistant, Melissa Butler, whose faithful behind-the-scenes work helps keep the ministry running smoothly each day. From managing communication, organizing records and donor information, preparing mailings and projects, assisting with events, and helping coordinate countless ministry details, her work provides essential support that allows the ministry to function effectively. Though much of her work happens quietly behind the scenes, it plays a vital role in strengthening the connection between GROW, its supporters, and the children whose lives are being impacted every day. Together, this small U.S. team helps carry the mission of GROW forward by supporting, encouraging, and equipping the work happening across Thailand and Cambodia.
Our U.S. team of volunteers assists us in communications, financial records and fundraising.They are all an integral part of the team. A huge thanks to all of them!
Ministry is not measured by how much praise or recognition a person receives, instead it is measured by how faithful their service truly is. God calls everyone to use the gifts that He has given us to serve others. “Whatever you do, do it from the heart, as something done for the Lord and not for people, knowing that you will receive the reward of an inheritance.” (Colossians 3:23-24 CSB). Jesus demonstrated this servant-hearted leadership while He was here on earth, and He reminded His disciples that “For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.” (Mark 10:45 CSB). As Christians and followers of Christ, we are called to live like Jesus and reflect His example using our own gifts for one another. For, “Just as each one has received a gift, use it to serve others, as good
stewards of the varied grace of God.” (1 Peter 4:10 CSB). Every day, the staff and volunteers of GROW live out these truths faithfully, ensuring that the children experience the love of Christ. Their work always matters to God, just like every act done for His glory, and His glory alone. Your work, done for His glory, also matters to God. Be encouraged in this.
When there is work to be done

Prayer:
Father, Guide the leaders, volunteers, and staff with Your Spirit. Keep them encouraged, protected, and steadfast.
