12 Months of Prayer – Seeds that GROW Hope

Each month, join us in prayer for the children, staff, and supporters of Grace Refuge Outreach Worldwide (GROW). Together, we plant seeds of hope that God grows into healing, joy, and new beginnings.

April – Hope for the Future

My hope is built on nothing less
Than Jesus’ blood, my righteousness
I dare not trust the sweetest frame
But wholly lean on Jesus name

On Christ the solid rock I stand
All other ground is sinking sand
All other ground is sinking sand

His oath, His covenant, His blood
Support me in the whelming flood
When all around my soul gives way
He then is all my hope and stay

On Christ the solid rock I stand
All other ground is sinking sand
All other ground is sinking sand

Every child who comes to GROW carries a story—but more importantly, they carry God’s purpose and potential for their future.

Many of the children who arrive at our campuses have faced hardship, loss, and uncertainty at a young age. Yet we believe that their story does not end there. At GROW, they are surrounded by love, care, and the truth of God’s Word. Day by day, we watch Him begin to heal hearts, restore confidence, and replace fear with hope.

Each child is learning that their life has value and meaning—that God sees them, knows them, and has a beautiful future prepared for them. Through education, discipleship, and faithful caregivers, seeds of hope are being planted in their hearts.

Today, we invite you to pray with us.

Pray that every child rescued by GROW will grow strong in faith and confidence for the future ahead. Pray that God will continue planting seeds of hope deep within their hearts—seeds that will grow into courage, purpose, and joy.

May they come to fully believe that God loves them, and that they have a God-given purpose and therefore hope for the future.

Thank you for praying for the children of GROW. Your prayers help nurture the seeds of hope God is growing in their lives.

The word “hope” often produces in us a calming effect or a sense of security only to be disillusioned and disappointed in the end.  Why? Because the hope of the world is dependent upon fallible people, which means the world’s hope is nothing more than wishful thinking. It offers no guarantees, no promises, and no peace. However, as Christians our hope is not wishful thinking but a confidence in the Almighty God who is infallible. He can never fail (Luke 1:37). He is faithful to keep every promise (II Timothy 2:15). We can confidently know that He will take care of us (Isaiah 46:4) and provide for all our needs (Philippians 4:19).  We are guaranteed that we will never be alone because He promised us that He would never leave us (Hebrew 13:5).  We know that there is a wonderful future in store for us because He promises us forgiveness of our sins and everlasting life (John 3:16). We can have peace and real joy because our hope is in God. We do not have to live a life of “what ifs” because our hope is built on nothing less than Jesus’ blood and righteousness.

Prayer:

Every child rescued by GROW carries God’s purpose and potential. Pray that they grow in faith and confidence for the future.

God, plant seeds of hope in every heart. Help each child see the bright beautiful future you have planned for them.
