Focus: Faithfulness

Kwan’s life is an example of God’s faithfulness to His promises. Kwan was a single mom with 3 children running a hair salon to raise enough money to support herself and her children. Her life was broken and hopeless. She didn’t know what to do or what her purpose was in life. She saw no way out of a meaningless existence with no future. But then, one day, she turned to
Jesus. Jesus was faithful to do just what He said. He healed her brokenness and gave her a purpose and a future. In 2017, Kwan became a volunteer at GROW where she cut hair and helped with sewing projects. As she engaged with the children through these activities God worked in her heart. God was reminding her of His great love for her and growing in her heart
a great love for the children at GROW. God was working. Kwan started to pray and God began using her to help bring healing to the children’s broken hearts. Kwan has been a faithful member of the GROW staff and a faithful prayer warrior for the children. She is instrumental in the process of restoring hope to the children and their families at GROW by sharing her story of God’s faithfulness.
Prayer: Oh God, Your word tells me that You are faithful forever (II Timothy 2:13). Everything You promise will come true. You are faithful and Your mercies are new every morning (Lamentations 3:23). Oh Father, I want to surrender my life to You like Kwan. I want to be used by You to point others to Jesus. For You alone give life (John 14:6). You alone give purpose and meaning (Ephesians 2:10). I will trust You in this journey of life because You have promised that You love me (Romans 8:38-39). You have promised that You will never leave me (Hebrews 13:5). I know that the plans You have for my life will be good (Jeremiah 29:11) because of Your faithfulness. Let me hold tightly to You because I know you will keep all Your promises (Hebrews 10:23).
